At The Dog Stop - Franklinton, dogs aren’t just welcomed—they’re known, understood, and cared for like family. As a dedicated dog day care center, we focus exclusively on creating a safe, upbeat environment where Columbus pups can play, learn healthy social behaviors, and head home happy and tired. Conveniently located at 399 W State St, Columbus, Ohio 43215, our center is an easy stop for neighbors in Franklinton and commuters moving through the heart of downtown.
Here, every detail is designed with your dog’s day in mind. Thoughtfully arranged playgroups match pups by size, temperament, and play style, so shy snugglers and bold explorers each get the right pace and attention. Spacious play areas encourage movement and curiosity, while a consistent routine helps dogs feel settled and confident. Cleanliness and safety are nonnegotiable. We maintain rigorous sanitation practices and constant supervision, giving you peace of mind from drop-off to pick-up.
Our team is made up of caring professionals who take the time to learn each dog’s preferences—favorite toys, best buddies, ideal rest breaks. That personal touch shows up in the little moments: a calming pause for a nervous newcomer, a cheerful redirect for a playful pup with extra energy, or a well-earned nap after a busy morning of zoomies. We celebrate progress, too, whether it’s improved confidence, better social manners, or simply a wag that won’t quit.
Community matters to us. The Dog Stop - Franklinton is proud to contribute to the rhythm of the neighborhood—supporting local pet parents with reliable daytime care that fits real-world schedules. Whether you work nearby, explore the Arts District, or juggle a calendar full of errands, our central location helps you make the most of your day while your dog enjoys theirs.
